

ABOUT DR. GABERT
Dr. Gabert received her Medical Degree with Special Training in Research (STIR) awarded from the University of Alberta Medical School in 2015. She contributed significantly to the student body through her roles as VP Internal of the Medical Student’s Association, a member of the clerkship mentorship program, as well as joint student representative for the Federation of Medical Women of Canada.
Dr. Gabert completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alberta in 2017. During her training she completed several Dermatology and related rotations learning from Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, and Family Physicians with a special interest in the skin. One of these rotations was with Dr. Chris Keeling. Dr Gabert joined the team at Symmetry Dermatology formally in 2019; she continues to learn from Dr Keeling’s mentorship, journal club, and online continuing medical education.
At this time Dr Gabert is actively involved with the University of Alberta as Clinical and Non-Clinical lecturer for Medical Students and Resident Physicians, and is an associate member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada.

When she’s not working at Symmetry Dermatology she continues to be engaged with community family medicine. Outside of work she enjoys being active in nature and spending time with her children and spouse outdoors. .
